Istanbul Kultur University will discuss durability in family businesses this year at the Family Business Congress, which it has been organizing since 2002. The main theme of the congress was determined as ‘Sustainability and Institutional Resilience in Family Businesses’.
Stating that they will organize the ninth edition between 14-15 April this year, Istanbul Kültür University, Family Businesses and Entrepreneurship Application and Research Center Deputy Director Dr. Instructor Member Andaç Oğuz Toksoy said, “The book, which includes the analysis of ISO 22316, one of the newest standards published in the field of corporate resilience, and the corporate resilience stories of family companies created in line with these standards, will be distributed free of charge to the participants. The congress, which will be held at Istanbul Kultur University Ataköy Campus by the Family Businesses and Entrepreneurship Application and Research Center (AGMER), which was established within our university as a first in Turkey, aims to bring together the academic world with many family business founders and managers from various regions of Turkey. In addition, the academic papers to be presented at our congress will be published in international indexes and journals scanned in ULAKBİM after passing the referee process.” said.
