A few days ago we looked at many synthetic test results for the Ryzen 7 5800X3D. XanxoGaming owns the soon-to-be-released processor first game test published.
In the tests we see a benchmark with the Intel Core i9-12900KS and Core i9-12900K processors. However, for now, only Shadow of the Tomb Raider results are available and low settings are preferred at 720p resolution. On the other hand, Core i9 systems used 4800 MHz memory with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Ti graphics card. In the Ryzen 7 5800X3D system, besides the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti graphics card, 4×8 GB 3200 MHz memory is used.
The interesting thing here is that the 5800X3D with RTX 3080 Ti GPU is more performant than the i9-12900KF processor working with the RTX 3090 Ti. We mentioned that the resolution and game settings are low, which indicates that the test directly puts a load on the CPU.

According to the data, the system with 5800X3D offers 231 FPS and the system with 12900K offers 190 FPS. If we hit the difference as a percentage, there is a performance difference of 21.58%. In fact, it seems unlikely that there will be such high differences on average. XanxoGaming also announced that it has tested 11 different games in 1080p resolution, and we will be able to get better data with the tests that it will publish soon.
